We provide a relaxed environment in which to be treated, allowing our patients to feel completely at ease. On your first visit we will start by taking a full case history of current and previous medical conditions, including dietary and lifestyle questions. The presenting symptoms will be discussed in detail and then when consent is given a series of movements may be performed in order to highlight the problematic area(s).

At this stage the we will discuss the findings and provide you with a resume of diagnosis and treatment plan should it be appropriate. There will be certain situations where the osteopath may feel that further investigation is required in order to resolve the condition and at this stage we will discuss these with you and the appropriate healthcare avenue will be advised.

You can self-refer to an osteopath and most patients do. However there are GP surgeries that will refer for treatment and we have full disabled access and facilities, should they be required. Please wear what you feel comfortable in. Most patients will wear loose fitting sportswear. In order to maximise efficiency of the treatment, there may be situations where you will be asked to derobe to your underwear. Towels for modesty are provided. Should you prefer, you are more than welcome to bring a friend or relative to a treatment session.

We accept all major debit and credit cards. We also accept cash and cheque as payment. We are covered by several insurance companies but it is always best to check with your provider first as there are differences in insurance policies.
